Dr. Coffee Machine FAQ

Welcome to the FAQ section for Dr. Coffee Machines, where we address common inquiries about our office coffee machines. We understand the importance of a satisfying cup of coffee during those busy office hours, but we also recognise that the traditional procedures involved in obtaining it can be tiresome. That’s why we prioritise easy usage and low maintenance for our machines. In this section, we answer frequently asked questions to ensure your experience with Dr. Coffee is seamless and enjoyable.

For optimal performance, it is recommended to use purified water with a total dissolved solids (TDS) value not exceeding 80 parts per million (ppm) for all models of coffee makers by Dr. Coffee. It is preferable to have water with minimal hardness.

First, ensure the water tank is filled or connected to a water supply. Next, fill the bean hopper with coffee beans, then power on the machine. After turning it on, it is important to calibrate the grind before continuing with any further operations.

Calibrating the grind is essential to ensure consistent quality in each cup of coffee. While a fixed amount of coffee grounds is required for brewing, the number of grounds per grind can vary based on the type of beans being used. By calibrating the grind, your coffee machine can dispense the precise amount of grounds needed for each cup, resulting in a consistent and optimal brewing process, ultimately delivering a consistently high-quality coffee experience.

Dr. Coffee machines are designed to work seamlessly with utility power, either at 220V with a 10A or 16A capacity, depending on the power needs of the specific model. For detailed information regarding the power supply specifications of each model, we recommend contacting us directly and speaking with one of our coffee machine experts!
